What is MyOffice?

MyOffice is a subscription based Internet-hosted 'online office' developed for people who are on the move or who work from different locations and want to share information with their colleagues.

It combines shared diaries / calendars, contacts, email, tasks and file store into an integrated set of collaboration tools - all specifically designed for today's SME businesses.

There are 3 versions of the software - a Windows Desktop version, a Web Browser version and a Pocket PC PDA version.

MyOffice differs from normal web browser services in that, because its a Windows application, it can be run in 'offline' mode. So when the internet goes down you can carry on working without impacting your business.

Diaries and Calendars

The MyOffice Diary system allows you to share any number of diaries with your colleagues, regardless of where they are in the world. You can overlay multiple diaries in the same display, in daily, weekly, monthly or list views. Choose which of your users have access to which diaries.

Diaries can be viewed across timezones, either in your PC's timezone, or in a timezone of your chosing, allowing  seamless global planning.

Add your own fields to your appointments, to store the data that's specific to your business.

MyOffice Contact Management

Contact Management (CRM)

MyOffice Contact Management keeps your contact data in central location enabling you to share CRM data with your colleagues. Contacts can be organised into Contact Groups and you decide which users have access to which groups.

You can keep a history of your dealings with each contact, and also customise the data fields, so you'll never find yourself unable to keep the information you want on the customers you value.

MyOffice Email

Email Client

MyOffice includes a full featured POP3 Email client which, unlike normal desktop email clients, allows you to access your sent and received emails from any internet-connected PC. With your emails held centrally, you'll be able to work with all your emails from home, at work, or wherever you want. No more worrying about whether that important email you're looking for was sent from your laptop, your work desktop, or the PC in the hotel lobby.

Email Folder Sharing allows you to share your emails with other users in your account, so there's no need for endless forwarding and CC'ing just to allow your colleagues to access important emails.

MyOffice Task Planner

Task Planner

Whether you're after simple 'To Do' lists, or a more comprehensive Gantt chart, the MyOffice Tasks Planner allows you to not only plan your based business activities, but to share those plans with other users.

With shared task lists, there's no need to email your plans around the office, or pop them on the file server - they're available to the users in you account.

You can even set tasks to appear in other users' Today windows - so they'll see them as soon as they log on!

MyOffice Reminders

Reminders

Missing important engagements is never a good thing, but with MyOffice Reminders you can give yourself, and others, an extra warning. You can send reminders either to users within your MyOffice account, or to any recipient via email, and SMS mobile phone. Also, because MyOffice allows you to view your data from any timezone, regardless of what your PC's set to use, you can be sure reminders sent to colleagues overseas will go off at the right time.

Reminders can be attached to appointments and tasks, or simply set up as stand-alone entities ... so you have several ways in which you can use them. 

MyOffice File Store

File Store

Store and access your documents over the internet via MyOffice. Our permission-based File Store allows you control over which members of your account can download or alter documents stored in MyOffice.

The MyOffice file store is not dependant on additional components installed on your PCs, and so requires zero configuration to get started, and because your data is transported in the same, secure, way as the rest of your account's data, there's no need for additional network configuration.

Today Window

The Today window enables you to see all the things you have to do today ... in one window.

It lists diary appointments, tasks and contact 'activities' that are due today.

In terms of managing yourself and other people it's invaluable. You can see at a glance what's happening today and if you scroll forward you'll see future days as well.
