Account Administration

Overview

When you initially set up an account, the Username you provide is automatically given full administration capabilities.

This allows you to create more users and diaries whenever you wish. You can also give administration capabilities to other users.

There are six kinds of administrator:

  • User Administrator (can create users)
  • Diary Administrator (can create diaries)
  • Contact Administrator (can create contact groups)
  • Task Administrator (can create task lists)
  • File Store Administrator (can share file store folders)
  • Email Administrator (can create shared email folders)

Typically, a user with User Admin and Diary Admin capabilities would set up new users, specify which modules the user could use and set the access permissions to various diaries. A Contact Administrator would create new contact groups and specify which users had access to the groups.

The Administration functions are accessed from the Tools menu.
